The Fund

3Business

The author told the real story of Ray Dalio and Bridgewater, his hedge fund. He had interviewed a lot of former and current employees at the company which gave more realistic picture of Ray’s management style which weren’t always as he tried to make it seem. The book was eye opening for me because I didn’t realize how much this kind of funds can make profit and how much they afforded to waste to pointless projects/employees. I was also amazed by how the results weren’t even that unrealistic but apparently they used simple investments models and the main reason why they made so much money were because Ray were able to convince a lot of institutional investors to invest to the fund.
