Space

It probably takes at least 50 years before we do asteroid mining or other very profitable business in outer space. My bet is that these companies can still grow quickly because traditionally this industry was operated by goverment organizations. For profit companies are much better at reducing costs which will make it cheaper to for example launch satellites. This already offers opportunities for these companies to grow. The big long term bet is that in 50 years we will do asteroid mining or other much more difficult business which allows these companies to become the most valuable in the world. It’s likely that I’m way too early in this and I should actually look at investing into these in 50 years but I see it important to have some bets as we tend to underestimate the progress in long term.
